Quantros Regional Territory Manager (RTM), Northwest Region

The company currently provides Web-based solutions in the areas of safety and risk management, quality and performance improvement and accreditation and compliance to over 950 healthcare organizations.

Position Description

WThe Quantros Regional Territory Manager is responsible for managing all new Quantros software sales within the Northwest region. This includes all direct sales activity as well as sales through channel partners. The RTM will be responsible for managing a host of activities including:

  • Managing direct and channel sales activities within the region
  • Supporting all areas of the sales cycle for both direct business and channel partnerships
  • Providing guidance, expertise and sales support to channel partners
  • Diligently and meticulously maintaining all sales tracking mechanisms including Salesforce for the region
  • Supporting all channel sales activities with WebEx product demos and meetings, onsite meetings with clients and contract generation and review
  • Working in conjunction with the Quantros corporate office for questions and issues needing resolution
  • Prepare all required client information and deliver it to Quantros Account Management, Finance and other organizations as part of a transition from signed contract into implementation
  • Acting as the "expert" in terms of Quantros offerings, benefits, market knowledge and competitive information
  • Build meaningful relationships with direct and channel clients for use in referral business

Position Responsibilities

The RTM is responsible for a significant portion of the new revenue generation activities for Quantros. This is accomplished through both direct and channel management responsibilities within the assigned territory. This is a critical position requiring an acute attention to detail and stellar written and verbal communication skills.

The following is a list of daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly activities for which the RTM will be responsible:

1. Daily

  • Further the sales process with existing leads within the territory via communications directly with clients, channel sales representatives and others.
  • Report all sales activities for the within Salesforce for viewing via reports.
  • Generate and update a dossier on all major clients including the latest contact, next steps, historical data on the account and research concerning the prospect.
  • Act as a manager for providing demo and sales support. In cases where an Account Manager is required, work with the Director, Account Management to ensure appropriate resources are available.
  • Follow up and manage the sales cycle for direct leads that do not fit within the scope of partner sales. Further the sales cycle and facilitate communications.
  • Complete all contract paperwork as needed for deals within the region including a Client Information Sheet.

2. Weekly

  • Provide a report for review with the head of new sales with all current accounts and status.
  • Provide an updated forecast to target for the current and following quarter outlining plans for both ensuring close estimations and forecasted revenue as well as plans for addressing any revenue shortfalls that may exist.
  • Meet with each of the partner regional directors and sales personnel at least once a week as part of gathering data regarding open deals underway. Also work to ferret out any additional leads that need to be worked and support the effort any way it is needed (Trip out to client site, demo, collateral, answering questions, supporting phone conferences, generating Quantros contracts, etc..)

3. Monthly

  • Provide a monthly report of deals closed as well as deals underway for closure during the next six months.
  • Address any shortfalls with a detailed contingency plan of next steps to course correct revenue deficit.

4. Quarterly

  • Provide a quarterly review of accounts for the coming six months as well as any accounts closed during the period.
  • Wrap up all paperwork for any closed contracts for the period.

It is these responsibilities that we help support successful sales within your region. They are mandatory for the RTM role.

Requirements

The Quantros RTM must have a unique set of skills and experience in order to drive business within the region. The following skills and experience are required for this position:

  • Must reside within the region he or she supports
  • Must have 10+ years of experience within sales, channel sales or consulting sales with growing degrees of responsibility
  • Must have a proven track record of quota achievement
  • Must be able to understand and communicate Quantros solutions being offered including providing support for demonstrations of all solutions (A clinical resource will be provided for larger demos that have a large number of clinicians in attendance.)
  • Must be a collaborative communicator both externally and internally to Quantros
  • Must be a team player well versed in team selling
  • Must be detail oriented with the desire and ability to electronically track and manage all regional activities from direct and channel business
  • Must be willing to travel as needed (estimates of travel for this position are 25-50 percent) in support of sales within the RTM region

The Quantros RTM is the key manager for new revenue generation within Quantros.

Other Qualifications

  • BS/BA degree. MBA a plus
  • 2-5 years of healthcare sales experience preferred
  • Excellent listening and communication skills
  • Strong leadership and teaming skills
  • Excellent skills in strategic selling and negotiation
  • Strong business/industry acumen
  • Stellar relationship-building skills with internal team members and customers
  • Must be willing to travel as needed
