solutions, provides The Joint Commission verified support for HBIPS Data Collection
MILPITAS, CA - January 31, 2007 - Quantros, Inc., a pioneer and market leader in web-based
safety, quality and decision support solutions is proud to announce The Joint Commission verified module for
HBIPS (Hospital-Based Inpatient Psychiatric Services). This new measure is available for hospitals that would
like to collect and subsequently submit data to The Joint Commission's ORYX™ Core Measure database.
"Quantros has been heavily involved in supporting The Joint Commission initiatives since the inception of the
Core Measures program," says Neena Arora, MD, MHA, Director, Regulatory Reporting Product Management of
Quantros. "We are committed to helping hospitals improve both quality and performance and see the HBIPS
module as an extension of that commitment."
Hospitals can collect HBIPS data in lieu of the current nine non-core measure sets to meet ORYX™ requirements. Collecting data now will ensure your preparation for 2008 when mandatory submissions will be required.
The Quantros HBIPS module includes:
- Web-based access for rapid installation and use
- Skip-Logic for faster data entry
- Real-time access to data for review, reporting and analysis
- A host of reports for analysis including
- Data Quality Reports
- Detailed Measure Reports
- All Measure Category Assignment Report
- A paper-based form for those without access to a computer
