Quantros, Inc. Publishes Pay for Performance Monograph With American Hospital Association
June 30, 2008 - San Francisco, CA - Quantros, a leading provider of real-time quality, safety and risk management, and accreditation and compliance software solutions for the healthcare industry, today announced that it has published its second monograph with the American Hospital Association’s Center for Healthcare Governance entitled "Pay for Performance, A Guide for Hospital Trustees."
The monograph was developed to provide hospital trustees with valuable insights into pay for performance issues and trends from a quality and safety perspective. According Sanjaya Kumar, MD, Chief Executive Officer of Quantros, "The pay for performance models that payers are employing across the country are very much the business of hospital trustees as they can have a significant impact on revenues and the health of their institutions. We are pleased to have worked with the AHA to provide trustees with the information they need."
John R. Combes, President and COO of the Center for Healthcare Governance, commented, "This monograph is well timed as pay-for-performance is becoming more widespread. Dr. Kumar has done a fine job of articulating what trustees need to understand and giving them a foundation, as well as practical suggestions, for guiding their hospitals effectively in the emerging P4P environment."
Copies of the monograph are available through the AHA’s Center for Healthcare Governance at 1-888-540-6111 or online at www.americangovernance.com
