Michigan Health & Hospital Association Service Corporation Partners With Quantros™ to Collect, Report and Analyze Quality Program Data

MHASC Core Options™ to leverage Quantros RRM™ technology solution for Enhanced Offering

San Francisco, CA-July 18, 2007 - Quantros, a leading provider of real-time quality, safety and risk management, and accreditation and compliance solutions for the healthcare industry, today announced that it is partnering with the Michigan Health & Hospital Association Service Corporation (MHASC) to leverage their respective quality and regulatory compliance applications. Under this agreement MHASC will integrate Quantros RRM™, a Web-based application for meeting quality program requirements and regulatory reporting needs, to support The Joint Commission Core Measures and The Center for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) quality compliance reporting through MHASC's Core Options™ offering.

MHASC has to date supported The Joint Commission and CMS programs with its own desktop application, but views this partnership as an opportunity to provide its customers with the distinct advantages of a real-time, Web-based technology solution that is currently used by over 650 facilities throughout the United States. In addition, the partnership will provide additional benefits to Core Options™ clients including Interater Reliability Reports for measuring abstraction quality across abstractors and the option of concurrent reporting with an ADT interface to more rapidly address quality variances while the patient is still in the hospital.
