Quantros Adds Physician Reporting Module to its Regulatory Reporting Management (RRM) Suite of Solutions

MILIPITAS, CALIFORNIA, August 2, 2006 - Quantros, Inc. is pleased to announce a new data analysis and decision support feature - Physician/Staff Level Reporting for key quality metrics. This module is being added to the company's existing RRM (Regulatory Reporting Management) solution suite. These new physician/staff specific reports on all or selected measures of performance will allow healthcare organizations to use the data already collected for the National Healthcare Quality (NHQ) initiative to be profiled at the practitioner level.

Quantros has proactively answered the requests of healthcare customers utilizing its Regulatory Reporting Management technology and data management solution. Studies have demonstrated that physicians are an integral component in care process improvement and show higher levels of participation when data is delivered in a consistent and timely manner. While quality of care is typically evaluated from an overall healthcare facility perspective, it is the physician who determines the diagnosis and prescribes all medical interventions. The Physician/Staff Level reporting module will provide a crucial link between facility and physician communications. This new component of Quantros RRM empowers the healthcare process with real-time performance data.

Partnering with physicians through data sharing will help hospitals target specific opportunities for quality improvement and reduce negative incidents such as post-operative surgical site infections, which can lead to a reduction in claims and excess care costs. Compiled statistical data and analytical results will be helpful for peer review. At the individual physician level, RRM physician reporting will help healthcare administrators recognize care trends for diseases such as acute myocardial infarction, heart failure, pneumonia, and surgical care.
