Alvarado Hospital Selects The Quantros Suite of Solutions for Safety Management and Quality Reporting

Adoption of Quantros Safety and Risk Management and Quantros Regulatory Reporting Management to Provide New Levels of Safety and Quality Integration

San Francisco, CA-August 10, 2007 - Quantros, Inc., a leading provider of enterprise-wide software for safety and quality solutions in healthcare, today announced that Alvarado Hospital, one of San Diego's premier healthcare providers, has adopted The Quantros SRM for Safety and Risk Management and Quantros RRM for Regulatory Reporting Management. As part of this agreement Alvarado Hospital will also leverage new technology for integrating Core Measures Variance Triggers from Quantros RRM into Quantros SRM. This added level of automated data integration will provide Alvarado Hospital with a new level of insight that can further its quest for continuous safety improvement throughout its organization.

Alvarado Hospital was using Quantros RRM as part of Tenet Health System when it was divested last year. Upon review of current systems, the organization made the decision to continue using Quantros as its vendor of choice for quality reporting to The Joint Commission and the Center for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS). In addition, Alvarado Hospital is also utilizing Quantros RRM for submissions to The Society for Thoracic Surgery (STS) Cardiac Registry and the ACC-NCDR CathPCI Registry.

After careful review of several other applications, Alvarado Hospital also selected Quantros SRM to aggregate, manage, report and analyze safety event data. The Quantros Safety and Risk Management Suite of Solutions include Quantros Safety and Risk Management (SRM) in support of patient, visitor and employee event tracking as well as a component for integrating Core Measures Variance Data Triggers. This added level of integration automatically routes the information from Quantros RRM to Quantros SRM and provides a new, automated level of data trend visibility and actionable knowledge.
