Healthcare Organizations Adopt Quantros Solutions to Reduce Administrative Costs and Improve Quality and Patient Safety
August 27, 2009 - San Francisco, CA - Quantros, Inc., an industry leader in healthcare data management and decision support solutions for safety, quality, compliance, and prospective surveillance, continues to be the provider of choice for Core Measures and Patient Safety Event Reporting.
Three Louisiana hospitals selected Quantros Regulatory Reporting Manager (RRM) solution as their ORYX Core Measure solution for reporting to The Joint Commission (TJC) and CMS. Quantros RRM™, now in use by more than 700 hospitals, will help Oakdale Community Hospital, Avoyelles Hospital and Winn Parish Medical Center coordinate and manage accurate, on-time quality and physician performance reporting to meet stringent federal and state regulatory demands. By enabling real-time access to extensive comparative data, RRM will also help then reduce costs and maximize pay-for- performance reimbursement opportunities.
The Quantros Safety and Risk Management (SRM) solution was also selected by two organizations to help reduce the risk and impact of preventable medical events. Quantros SRM™ is a comprehensive platform of electronic event self-reporting, event tracking, monitoring and workflow management tools. SRM will help them gather data to identify safety issues and track intervention performance in real time. It will also help achieve cost savings associated with claims reserves accuracy, increased productivity in preventable event management and reduction of adverse events and the associated cost of care and extended stays.
CMH Regional Health System, located in Ohio, will be using the Quantros Event Manager (EM) module to support their medication management program, while Valley General Hospital expanded its portfolio of solutions to include the Disruptive Event Manager module. Quantros DEM™ will help them meet The Joint Commission (TJC) standards, reduce costs and build a safe, non-hostile work and care environment. Valley General is located in Monroe, WA.
“Healthcare providers continue to adopt and expand their portfolio of Quantros solutions. With the ongoing discussions concerning meaningful use and safer care as reflected in the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009 (ARRA) and other initiatives, Quantros solutions provide a very important, integrated bridge in helping provide a safer, more cost effective care environment.” States Chris Bethell, Vice President of Marketing and Product Development.
