Sanjaya Kumar, MD, MPH
President, CEO and CMO
Dr. Kumar is driven by an agenda aimed at improving the quality of care provided to patients
by today's evolving health care delivery systems. He has been the clinical lead on a number of
cooperative clinical quality improvement projects in various phases of development and implementation.
Dr. Kumar also serves on numerous quality improvement committees, task forces, and working groups, both
at the national and state level and is a frequent speaker at national health care conferences and meetings.
Dr. Kumar has published widely in peer reviewed medical journals and has also been involved in hosting
various health care industry conferences.
Thomas Leahy
Executive Vice President, Sales
Tom is a Co-Founder of Quantros, serving with the organization since September of 2000. During this tenure,
he has been responsible for building Quantros sales and client support organizations and developing key
channel and strategic relationships. As Vice President of Business Development, he is responsible for
evaluating and developing new licensing and strategic alliances for the company. He has served over twenty
one years as a Senior leader in the health information and health management services industries including
sales and general management roles with Caredata.com, Sun Healthcare Group, Transcend Services, Baxter
Healthcare, and The Upjohn Company . Tom holds an MBA, with honors, from Santa Clara University and a BA in
Chemistry from Southern Methodist University.
Chris Bethell
Vice President, Marketing Chris has been at Quantros since December 2004 and is
responsible for marketing, public relations and product management activities within the company. Prior to
Quantros, Chris held senior positions at leading technology companies including Cadence Design Systems,
Synopsys and Apple Computer. He has led sales and marketing activities at venture-backed companies such as
Arcsoft, Acumation and Findlaw. Chris holds a bachelors degree from the University of San Francisco.
Jenny Bell, RN
Vice President, Professional Services
Jenny has been with Quantros since June 2002 and is responsible for directing all client-facing
implementation, training and ongoing support activities for Quantros Safety and Risk and Accreditation and
Compliance. Jenny oversees a large team of experienced account managers and implementation specialists
throughout the United States. Prior to Quantros, Jenny held executive, administrative and operational roles
within the healthcare provider setting throughout the Southeast. Prior to this, she was involved in
healthcare support with the United States services for several years. Jenny holds a bachelor's degree in
nursing and maintains her credentials as a registered nurse and is a Certified Professional Healthcare
Quality member in good standing.
Randy Everett
Vice President, Operations
Randy has been with Quantros since January 2004 and is responsible for leading all aspects of the company's
operations, support and application maintenance. Randy is particularly adept at bringing process and
efficiency to an organization. Prior to Quantros, Randy served as Director of World Wide Technical Support
for Citadon, Inc, a leading Application Service Provider (ASP) for large commercial construction projects.
Randy has also held operational management roles with Apple Computer, Sun Microsystems and Cadence Design
Systems and has managed large scale support and services organizations for over 15 years.
Venky Vaddineni, MS
Vice President, Engineering & System Design
Venky has been with Quantros since January 2000 and has been deeply involved in the all aspects of Quantros
technology development. Prior to Quantros, Venky served as Technical Architect for CyberSoft Inc, Canada,
a leading consulting firm dealing with Healthcare and Internet based applications. His experience
encompasses all aspects of web-based technology specifically focused within the healthcare industry. Venky
holds an advanced degree in Computer Science from the University of Wollongong, Australia.
Chris Rasmussen
Vice President, Legal & General Counsel, Secretary
Chris is currently is a sole practitioner and specializes in startup companies and corporate transactions.
He is currently the vice president and general counsel of a number of small companies and sits on a number
of boards. Before retiring from the telephone company, he was the General Counsel, Vice President-Law and
Regulatory and Secretary for Southwestern Bell Communications (SBC) Services, Inc., the long distance
subsidiary of SBC. Prior to that he was the General Counsel, Vice President and Secretary for Pacific Bell
Network Integration, the data equipment and networking subsidiary of the Pacific Telesis Group (PTG). He has
practiced law for 30 years and is a member of the California bar. He has a juris doctorate with honors from
Santa Clara University Law School and a bachelor of arts in political science from Stanford University.
Steve Miller
Vice President, Finance
Steve is a proven executive with twenty years of senior-level financial and accounting experience within
the software industry. He is a people-oriented, customer focused leader adept at fostering teamwork and
continuous improvement. Prior to Quantros, Steve held director and controller-level positions at Microbar
Corporation, Global Sight Corporation, Sapient Software, TV Interactive and DHL Systems. In a spirit of
giving back to the business community, Steve proudly has served as an adjunct faculty member for National
University and Columbia College.
Neena Arora, MD
Director, Product Management, Regulatory Reporting
Neena has been with Quantros since April 2005 and directs all client-facing efforts surrounding regulatory
reporting solutions. Neena is a physician with experience in ER and various other medical and surgical
departments. Prior to Quantros, Neena was deeply involved in managed care compliance and regulations. She was
the regulatory liaison for a California-based HMO for state agencies such as the DMHC (Department of Managed
Health Care) and the DHS (Department of Health Services). She has also worked in the medical material supply
chain management industry, creating processes for standardization of hospitals' inventories by finding
innovative and efficient ways to validate, enrich and categorize their product information. In addition to
her other credentials, Neena also holds an advanced degree in healthcare administration.
Ali Rashidee, MD
Director, Product Management, Safety and Risk
Ali has been at Quantros since August 2005 and is responsible for product management and domain guidance of
the Quantros Safety and Risk Management Solution. Ali is a physician with in-depth knowledge of clinical
informatics and data management. Prior to Quantros, Ali held senior roles within leading healthcare academic
and public organizations including Vanderbilt University, AHRQ and the CDC as well as roles within the
healthcare setting at the Mary Bird Perkins Cancer Center and the Bajitpur Health Complex. In addition to
his medical credentials, Ali also holds an advanced degree in medial physics.
Donna Scott, RN, CPHQ, LHRM
Director, Product Management, Accreditation and Compliance
Donna joined the company in March 2007. She has more than 30 years experience in healthcare, the last 15 in leadership roles guiding performance improvement, Joint Commission preparation, resource management and patient safety. She was recruited to Florida in 1997 to set up a patient safety program after a highly publicized incident. She contributed to the book, First Do No Harm, in 1998 and published the results of her efforts in reducing medical mistakes in RN Magazine, August 2000. She was instrumental in winning the HITS Award for her organization (Healthcare Innovations in Technology Systems) in May of 2000. She recently published in the Patient Safety & Quality Healthcare journal in April 2005. Donna has spoken to numerous audiences on patient safety since 1998 including five HIMSS (Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society) conferences, MedInfo, the NPSF (National Patient Safety Foundation) Congress and AHIP. She is affiliate faculty at University of South Florida and has taught at the University of Phoenix. Donna was selected in 2006 by the American Nurses Association to serve on the International Council of Nurses Bank of Nurse Experts in Patient Safety. She is a nationally Certified Professional in HealthCare Quality and is a Licensed Health Care Risk Manager in Florida. She holds a Master of Business Administration from the University of Sarasota and a Bachelors of Science in Nursing from Florida State University.
