Southeast Georgia Health System is using Quantros’ Quality and Utilization Metrics module to measure, manage, and monitor their healthcare delivery rating nearly two years ahead of the release of CMS data.
In one example, they used Quality and Utilization Metrics to measure clinically adjusted physician inpatient performance on total charge and cost per case, departmental charge and cost per case, gross margin per case, and length of stay. Their analysis focused on diagnosis-related groups (DRG) closely replicating the data and methodology CMS uses to rate hospitals.
