The University of Kansas Hospital ranks 18th in the nation in overall medical care when compared with other university hospitals, according to the 2010 CareChex Research Study.
The report is compiled by Comparion Medical Analytics, a leading health care information services company.
The study evaluated 118 U.S. university hospitals using three federal databases, then used the data to assign percentile scores based on process, outcomes and patient satisfaction.
